Public Transit

The most convenient method to reach the museum is via the Kabataş-Bağcılar Tram line (T1).

T1 Tram LineDisembark at Sultanahmet station. The museum is a 3-minute walk across the square.

Marmaray

If arriving from the Asian side, take the Marmaray to Sirkeci Station. From there, transfer to the T1 Tram line towards Bağcılar or walk approximately 15 minutes up the hill.

Vehicle Access

Private vehicle access to Sultanahmet Square is strictly regulated. We strongly advise utilizing public transportation. Limited paid parking is available near Topkapı Palace.
